Sumimoto Chemical Company of Japan were launching Olyset premium, theirchemically treated mosquito nets into Africa. The nets are made using new Japanese technology, and are more sophisticated than any of the mosquito nets currently available in the marketplace. The challenge was to launch these nets into a market with already well-established players, drive awareness and desirability of Olyset, while presenting the category in a refreshing way.
We simplified the technological advancements of Olyset nets into three simple and tangible benefits which which consumers could relate.
Too early to tell, but initial post-launch uptake has been positive.
